A new story from Montage Health highlights how Coastal Kids Home Care helps children with complex medical needs receive specialized care at home — while giving families more time together and fewer long trips to pediatric specialty centers.
Through its Community Benefit program, Montage Health awarded Coastal Kids $10,000 in both 2025 and 2026. The funding helps sustain services that may not otherwise be available to families, including music and massage therapy, caregiver support groups, family outings and therapeutic play.
“Coastal Kids is a natural fit for Community Benefit because our missions align so closely,” says Yasmine Elsherbini, director of Montage Health’s Community Health and Wellness team. “At Montage Health, we want to provide people with advanced, quality care close to home. Coastal Kids does just that for children who have complex medical needs, and we’re proud to support that work.”
The article also highlights the breadth and reach of Coastal Kids’ work — from skilled nursing, therapy and palliative care to the programs that help children and families experience connection, joy and the everyday moments of childhood.
