About the Cantor Fund
The Lewis and Sally Cantor Family Wishes Fund was created to honor the enduring legacy of Dr. Lewis Cantor, a founding board member and long-time advocate for Coastal Kids Home Care. Inspired by his vision to bring high-quality medical care into the homes of children with complex needs, this fund goes one step further by meeting urgent, non-medical needs that can make a life-changing difference for families.
While Coastal Kids provides skilled nursing and compassionate support, there are times when families face unexpected challenges that fall outside traditional care. The Cantor Family Wishes Fund allows our team to respond quickly with essential items like adaptive strollers, emergency generators, grocery gift cards, or newborn supplies.
Launched in celebration of 20 years of service and 11,000 children cared for, the fund aims to raise $100,000 to ensure families have access to critical resources when they need them most.
With a generous founding gift from Dr. Cantor and his wife Sally, this fund reflects a shared commitment to say "yes" when families need help beyond medicine.
