Touch-A-Truck San Jose

(NEW EVENT) April 20, 2024

For almost a decade, Coastal Kids has put on Touch-A-Truck in Salinas -- a fall tradition and the signature fundraiser for Coastal Kids Home Care. The event includes vehicles, food trucks, music, and more. Children and adults can climb into a fire engine, explore a bulldozer, and get behind the wheel of a big rig. They can learn about CPR, build a toy truck, and enjoy carnival games all while enjoying tasty treats. The event has grown from a small grassroots effort to an eagerly anticipated community event attracting over 1,000 kids and kids at heart. And some of our most special patients have enjoyed the event year after year.

Last year we were thrilled to bring Touch-A-Truck to San Jose. The results were more than we could have imagined. Over 1000 guests were able to enjoy over 50 classic cars, 25 vehicles that kids and kids at heart could explore, live performances, tasty treats, and fun activities.

We are excited to announce our second annual Touch-A-Truck San Jose event! Join us on Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 11 AM to 3 PM at History Park San Jose!

Thank you to our presenting sponsors Valeta and TJ Rodgers!

Proceeds from TOUCH-A-TRUCK have always benefited Coastal Kids Home Care--our area's only provider of in-home medical, social service, and therapy visits to children living with illness in our community.
